Sequential circulator pumps use sequential inflation of air chambers to push the fluid in the body towards the lymph nodes to be absorbed. It can be used for the following conditions:

1. Special baffle system
Traditional pump garments have oval shape chambers, leaving gaps between chambers where compression cannot reach the body. The uncompressed body part may get even more swollen after treatment.
The Bio Compression pumps use a special baffle system in their garments to ensure there is no gaps between chambers. Every inch of the limb is compressed.

2. Pumping program designed to move fluid
The sequence and duration of inflation are specifically designed to move fluid in the body, unlike many other pumps that are programmed for general massage. There is also a gradient pressure drop towards the center of the body to ensure that fluid is directed towards the lymph nodes.
3. Extra chambers
The 8-chamber system, compared to a 4- or 6-chamber system, delivers more effective and comfortable treatment. The Elite 8 Vest garment is designed for arm lymphoedema. It has chambers that cover the shoulder, armpit, and chest areas to direct fluid to lymph nodes in the groin, and the opposite side of the upper body. It addresses breast swelling, as well as arm swelling. The Bio Pants is designed for bilateral lower limb swelling. It has chambers covering the abdomen to activate the deep central lymphatic system for better results.
